Who are we?

A group of citizens living in the township of Leeds and the Thousand Islands formed a taxpayers group in the summer of 2005.

What do we do?

Members of the association attend many Township council meetings.  We speak up at meetings on behalf of the taxpayers with respect to our mandate.  We hold workshops and information sessions on topics of interest to taxpayers.

To support good governance in the Township of Leeds and the Thousand Islands and in the United Counties of Leeds and Grenville through:  Accountability, integrity, open communication, and transparency, in keeping with sound administrative, developmental, ecological and economic principles.
